UniFi UCK G2 Plus (present detector)

hi!

 

as i said before i am moving right now from RING DOORBEL (it's pain and annoyed cloud)  to UNIFI

I already has UNIFI infrastructure (4 flying saucers  ) and old UniFiKey V1

now i bough CloudKey Gen2 plus AKA UCK-G2-PLUS (unpacked) and UniFi Doorbell AKA UVC-G4-DOORBELL (still not unpacked. no time to unpack ) 

so, today i have adapted my old QA - UniFi present detector - now it works for UCK-G2-PLUS

I am thinking of changing my old Aruba to UniFi AP-AC-Pro - will this presence QA work with this AP or do I need to buy something else

i develop two separated QA for old controller (like own on the rPI or NAS or Unifi Cloud Key v1)

and this what works only with unifiOS as mention @ppeterr

Thank you for a fast reply - My existing Aruba IAP205 has build in controller, and dont need any extra hardware or software Installed to run. As i haven't invested in Unifi yet, my knowledge is limited. 

Ubiquiti looks very cool 

So buying a handful of new Unifi Access points is not enough - i need a secondary device like Dream Machine - is that correct understood? And If I uses the "old" Quick App i can install some software at my QNAP or rPI and in that way use the Presence QA?

And that software i need to install will be Unifi manager?

it's a very strange as for me question cuz UniFi Controller should driving all exists devices and i think you should already has UniFi Controller
