bought a SMart Implant and moved a working DS18B20 from a FG door sensor to avoid all battery changes for outside measurement of temp in sea. added 2 sensors and both temp appears when adding to smart impant ad added to my home center, but temp shows high and fixed at 32degC & 27degC. removed and reconfigured with only 1 sensor and sme happens. 1 temp shown, but still high at 32degC. it moved a bit when using hot and icewater, but moves only 2-3 degC (31 to 34 decG. the sensors works with FGK so they should be ok

i have deleted and added several times without success.

hope someone can help out with this issue, please?

kind regards

Hi @Tostrupsveg- does this post help you?  Especially the part about clone sensors.  Some clones will work with some devices and not others.

It's the sensor that is measuring the temperature and converting it to digital. So I would suspect that the sensor is a faulty clone. (The other thing to check is have you set a temperature offset in smart implant advanced settings)

I had issues with clone sensors which led me to buy genuine ones from a reputable store (dfrobot probes from Digi-Key). Then a year later the store emailed me to say that they had discovered that the supposed genuine parts were actually fakes. Seems even the big boys can get duped. You can't tell unless you open the probe, thus destroying it!

Hi Tim, you were totally right. I had 1 faulty sensor that avoided the healthy one to work. noe i could connect 3 ds18b20 and it works beautifully. thanks for your support
