Target / actual temperature illogical

Question

Hi!
I use a HC3 with version 5.100 and HeatController with version 4.9.

Some of the controllers are running fine, however one controller is not working properly.

I have already changed the target temperature manually, with a slight reconfiguration. Without success.

Especially now that energy prices are exploding, that's not nice. Does anyone have a hint?

Greetings Karl Heinz

    So, I have the feedback.

Looks like device lost its position and thought that it is closed but valve was still a little bit opened.
Make sure that UBS port and whole for the pin is pointed downwards - strong light may interrupt encoding position and when device is rotated with the ports to light source it may affect the precision of setting valve position.

    Michał

Are you serious about this? Too much light can cause a bad functionality? 😮

Every year I hav the same problem that after some time it stopt working properly.. and the the room is too hot.

@m.roszak Hi Michal,  can you please elaborate on that a little bit ? there is no refference in the manual about the position of the USB port and i was under the impression that it does not matter.   Also, are the FGT's with a button also affected by this ?

Generally it should not be a problem if there is not direct light on the device.
    Encoder is a optic one.

New revision with button should not be affected by this in any way.
