IN1 and IN2 has 20V when nothing connected

Ringern

Question

I want to connect a 0-10V temp sensor to the input IN2 on the Smart implant. The problem is that I have 20V on the green wire when nothing is connected. The same with IN1, yellow wire. I use a 24V power supply to power the smart implant.

That's probably just a floating voltage when you have nothing connected. If you want to double check, connect a 1M ohm resistor between ground and the input and measure the green wire voltage again. It should be close to zero.

As @Tim__ mentioned, there is no issue. The inputs are pulled-up to the supply voltage and actually measure if the voltage drops close to 0. (0V means a binary ON if the NO mode is selected)
