All,

I have been looking for a way to add a quick app that could link to the data stream from F1, F2 and F3 grand prix. Essentially my theatre lighting would change between green yellow and red depending on the track status in real time.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!.

Thanks,

Anthony

That would be fun :)

But not easy.

I know there is some software that can extract images from the F1tv app.

Then with OCR filter out "RED FLAG" and parse that into something that triggers the HUE app.

But hell :) Probably to slow, and much to hard to work it out.

So there appears to be an API and a parameter for track status but not sure how to query the api in node red or HC3. Will keep looking
