Localization Panel/Tracking family

Johnnyg_ro

Question

Hi, guys,

Fisrt of all, please dont shoot me if i ask stupid questions, i just bought my 1st HC ( a HCL3 Lite) . After i search this forum for 2 hours, finding only post related to other models (mainly HC2 and HCL), i would like to know how can i see the position of family members on a map in real time in app/ PC . Something like i saw in Localization Panel in older version, but in HCL3 Lite there is no panel as such. I allready added the members and their phones 9 that i figure it out) but i see no way i can see them on my mobile app or computer on a google map for example.

Again, dont shoot me please.

I have completely turned off all of my GPS related QAs, becuase GPS tracking just didn't work for me. Some other users are more lucky, or have different phones and for them somehow GPS tracking is working. Anyway, if your phone GPS does work correctly, you can check the other users position by fibaro.getValue(ID, "Location"), where ID is the users ID.

However, if you don't need it in some Fibaro related scenes, I would suggest to use Google's functions. If your family member allowed to share his positioin, you can simply ask Google where he/she is.
