Samsung smart things - integrate devices

Hello,

 

recently, I bought Fibaro home center 3 and starting to add devices. I would like to ask for advice about integration of samsung airconditioning.

 

- I have 3 samsung airconditionings, connected via Samsung SmartThings, see picture 1.

 

- By following manual, I added my smartThings account to Fibaro (with generating Pincode, see picture 2.

 

- You can see, that Fibaro found only 2 airconditions instead of 3.

 

- If I try to control one of two added, nothing is reacting. Every clik to any button just generate message, action canceled, see picture 4.

 

 

Is there a way, to integrate this 3 airconditions? From my point of view, no need to use Samsung SmartThings.

it doesn't work for long time. Fibaro has to change APIs for Samsung integration ...

I know how to do it but I don't have time for creating QA.

It is a little different issue, Samsung stopped supporting the API which allow us to integrate with them.
They were limiting the options for some time now and now there is no official way to integrate external systems with them.
The plugin for it will be removed.

Only SmartThings is integrated now.

Ok, thanks. I wanted to do some automations with airconditioning in case of opened windows/doors.

 

Do you have any tip for recuperation system to house, which working with some CO and temparature sensor integrated in Fibaro? I mean, brand, which is tested / supported.

Hello, be careful when choosing the sensor you need. For ventilation and recovery systems, you most likely need a sensor not CO (carbon monoxide), but a CO2 (carbon dioxide) sensor . You need something like that http://z-wavelab.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=568 .
