Scene name length -please allow longer

Would it be possible to add a change to allow for longer scene names. Today it is limited to 20 characters but there are room/space for a lot more.

 

Having 45-50 different rules it would be beneficial to have good scene names, but the limit of 20 characters are putting a hinder on that. Increasing this to 40 characters would be really good (or at least 30).

We are thinking about it for some time now - we are discussing possibilities.
Additionally we are thinking about restoring possibility to assign scenes to rooms - this may not be so easy.

Thanks for quick update, length of scene names sounds like an easy thing to change compared to the ‘assing scenes to room’.

 

Limiting scene names to 20 characters feels a bit outdated in my view and not that modern approach, really hope to see a change in this soon to make the UI a bit more user friendly.

The minimum is 50 characters in my opinion.

It's very nice that you can currently enter long names of scenes, but still in the climate and alarm configuration we have a maximum of 20 characters to enter in the zone name
Can I have this also changed?
