Climate Schedule for Reverse Cycle Air Conditioner

Mike MJ

Question

Using a HC3, has anyone been able to set up a Thermostat  [Settings>Devices> Other> Thermostat] to control a reverse cycle air conditioner in either Heating Schedule or Cooling Schedule.  When I set this up I get very erratic cycles of on and off without any apparent pattern to the activating temperature.

However if I set up the Thermostat with only one temperature sensor and one on/off switch using only a heating schedule it works fine. My problems arise when I try to have 2 scenes setup ...one to operate a heating schedule and a second scene to operate a cooling schedule . Even when the cooling schedule is disabled the system behaves erratically .

Any advice will be appreciated.

I am experiencing the same problem, even more complex with integration of classic heating and A/C in both cooling and heating modes. Any advice / experience would be much welcome.
