Roller Shutter - Duplicated Controls

Hello,

 

why do we have duplicated control icons on roller shutters?

Is it a bug or a feature?

Can't answer this but I can say that I see this issue on just one of my Qubino Shutter DC devices. The other such devices and my Roller Shutter 2s are fine. Using HC2.

 

I haven't really investigated it yet, I will try a device delete and reconfigure at some point. Wondering if it is somehow related to how the device is initially included.

@M.Grajczak, I see it too with Roller Shutter 3 in Yubii Home app.

 

I think both @VascoFilipe and @Tim__ refer to Open, Stop and Close in First button row and Start level change Up, Stop level Change and Start level change Down in that 3rd row.

 

In HC3 BUI they have different symbols but in YUBII App they have the same symbols.

Hello, I'm not at home at the moment so I can't attach the /api/devices screenshot . This is a Fibaro Roller Shutter 3 -  FGR-223 

It seems @jakub.jezek is right... but my question is: what is the difference in the behavior of pressing Open/Close and pressing Level up/Level down ? Aren't the controls redundant? They seem to do the same...

Well, it depends on what you consider as ON and OFF. I think OFF is that blinds go fully UP and ON to go Fully down, but I may be wrong.

 

It is good if it is there. But it is useable for 3rd party gateways and base for this device template showed it is there.

 

@M.Grajczak, I think that Level change should not be there if there is Open, Close and Stop button. Maybe if its disabled in template for this device it would also solved app problem.

I had a look into my issue.  I have two Qubino Shutter DCs in the living room.

The first is connected to a linear actuator (operates a sliding panel over the window). It also has a temperature sensor connected.  This device shows 5 slaves - 3 are temperature/sensor related, but there are two slaves that can both operate the actuator (these both show as roller shutter controls in web and app).

The second device is connected to motorised window louvres. This only has 1 slave - which is roller shutter controls.

 

Not sure why the extra slave appears when there is a sensor connected.  But I have solved by clicking advanced check box "This device is hidden in the system" for one of them, and the duplicated control disappears from both app and web portal. @VascoFilipe this may help you too?

I just discover this post and section, I make a post regarding the management of the roller shutters with the latest version of Yubii :

 

 

Do you think it will be possible to add an option for enable/diseable this second windows for manage the shutters by the favorite icon ?
