So. Need my HC2 to be able to react on the prices of the electricity in my country (Denmark).
For instance i want to be able to make sure that a pool heater only activates when the energy price is under a certain limit.

I was thinking of ifttt integration first (theres an ifttt app called elektrum, but they do not service danish pricing).

Then i was contemplating some ifttt integration via google sheets (with auto update of prices) to flip a switch (fyi “on” when energy price under certain level). I got as far as i have a google sheet with hourly pricing (+1 day forecast), 2x 24 hourly pricepoints.. But its not so easy to get the interation from there, as i am not sure how to pick the one cell in the sheet that correspond to the hour of day. The ifttt integration can pick a specific cell but not change the pick by the hour, and the integration on ifttt seem too simple anyway (it does not check the value, only check if its changed).

So. Does anyone have a working setup to be able to switch devices on/off based on the actual current price of energy? Or perhaps have some idea on how i can move forward with the ifttt / google sheets idea.

Don't have any good input for how to do this in a HC2, but wanted to give some insight on how this can be done in a HC3.

In the HC3 there are QA's (Quick Apps) for both Greenely and Tibber (two energy companies in Sweden) that automatically get the energy prices from the energy company. I use this as a trigger/parameter for different scenes and have also created a QA for the electric car charger I have (Charge Amps) to be able to control charging of the car only when electricity are low in cost.

Most likely something similar could be don in the HC2 with VD's

@JcBorgs Thanks for sharing. Maybe I need to upgrade to HC3 :)

I did use a HC2 some years ago, then used a Homey for some time before moving to the HC3. I would definitely recommend the HC3, it is a huge uplift from the HC2 in my view.
