Hello!

 

I have developed a QuickApp to integrate Nilan devices into Fibaro. I plan to make this an ongoing development, keeping in mind user experience and portability. For the time being, we can use it to control Nilan devices with CTS700 board manufactured between 2016 and 2020, but a QuickApp for machines manufactured since 2020 and equipped with CTS602 board will be coming soon. The following versions will also include language and remote maintenance support.

This clearly shows that the channel is noisy. This is most likely due to a wrong baud rate setting on the elfin device. I think, you have a CTS602 board.

Another reason could be:

- You connected to the wrong modbus channel. On the CN7 connector (where pin1 is the 12VDC, pin6 is the ground) you have to coonnect the pin2 to modbus A and pin3 to modbus B

- you may forgot to include the 120 ohm resistors to terminate modbus A-B wires

Hi,

 

As far as I know, on the CTS700 board there is an integrated Ethernet connector, that you can simply connect to your router.

After that, you can find out what is the IP and you (or my QuickApp) can communicate through that IP on port 502.
