Eurotronic Air Quality Sensor not supported in HC2, supported in HC3)

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Despite "Support for other Z-Wave devices supported by Home Center 3." declared in release notes, Eurotronic Air Quality Sensor is not supported by HC2. Support for that sensor was added to HC3 in one of latest firmware.

I tried to add that sensor before 4.621 beta update, and also after - no differences.

So no template for parameters, and what is worse, not VOC node and values. It provides only Temperature, Humidity, Dev.point and CO2.

See attached screenshot. There is one node, first child below the root, that reports 0.00 without a unit.

Some additional templates will be also added to next version, not all were migrated in this beta.
As I remember correctly Eurotronic for sure will be supported in 4.630 GA.

EDIT:

I have confirmed, next version adds missing template.

After observing the device for  a few hours, I found that temeprature sensor is supported completly wrong. Started to show temepratures above 500 deg.C

Before, It worked with my HC3 for over 2 weeks without problems. I hope adding support will fix also that.

Dev.Point temperature is fine. CO2 - also in reange, but I think, the value is not proper after keeping device whole day in the room with opened window.

I confirm - in 4.630 all is fixed and Eurotronic Air Quality Sensor works fine, all the values are present. Device template is present.
