Question

Hi

Is it possible to implement Event Stream into HC3?

"Recent versions of the Hue Bridge firmware are exposing a new API version for the Hue system. The API v2 does support "push" style notifications for every change in the system, without the need for polling the Bridge."
it's not quite recent because its old news

No, but you can do a GET on the eventStream. It will hang up to ~30s if there are no events and then give a timeout/wantread. When there are events it will return immediately .

It's still kind of a polling but "only when there are events". It's still much better then the V1 were you had to poll with the speed you needed for latency... and with V2 you only get the changes

I have developed a HueV2Engine for HC3 that I'm polishing (still waiting for some V2 features).

In any case it looks very promising.
