HC2 no longer going to Add Devices Mode (just says Error)

My HC2 no longer goes into device add mode.  The Dialog does not pop up.  After a few seconds, It just says "Error in Add Device Mode".

 

Is there any way to fix this ?

Will Recovery Mode fix this ?

 

I haven't run out of devices yet, in fact I have fewer than I had a few weeks ago.

    I have ongoing issues and, after years of effort, they are finally responding.  I did report this to them.  But they typically take 10 -14 days to respond, sometimes never.

    Thank you for your feedback. 

     

    Unfortunately, but I cannot agree with you. I am constantly dealing with your case with the Z-wave department, which regularly reviews the performance of the system and analyzes whether there is progress. 

    I am very sorry, but some analysis in such a large Z-wave system that you have and the scale of problems that your Home center has require longer analysis and are very time-consuming.

    Hi Sandra,

     

    I accept that what you say is true.  But it is all the more reason to occasionally speed up the process, or provide me with the tools, so I can do it myself.  For instance, a scene was promised on the video call, to monitor the associations. If I had this, it would free me up a little to do other remedial actions.

     

    Now I am stuck, doing the process you wanted me to do.  because the HC will not add more devices.  This means that I can not re-enrol all devices (which you have asked me to do).  One of the questions, I had asked was "will recovery process fix this".  Without doing any analysis, a simple answer of "No, don't do recovery.  We will look at it". would have been enough.

     

    In the meantime, I have had wires hanging down the ceiling for almost 10 days now.  It is very difficult to remove this downlight (as it damages the plaster ceiling).  And there are 5 devices there.  Also, the long and heavy step ladder has also been in the middle of the living room for that length of time.  Annoying my wife greatly.

     

    All I want to  know urgently is

     

    1.  Will the recovery process fix this

    2.  Or, are you going to look at it.

    I habe the same problem. I get no Dialog in the webrowser. But I m able to add Devices in the fibaro app on my cellphone. Maybe this works for you?

    I did not know that the app had that facility.  I don't log in from the app as Admin. Are you using the Fibaro App or Yubii ?

    Hi again Sandra.  the implication here was that I was being impatient.  But my questions from the 15th onwards have not been answered yet.  And neither has this one.

    1. Are you looking this device add error (no dialog) ?
    2. Do I do a recovery ?
    3. Do I keep waiting ?  How long ?

    Here too on a HC2, software 4.630.  Other browsers tried, even not. On the cellphone it seems to work, but not all the configurations (e.g. adding a slave gateway)
