RGBW module reboot/not working properly

Question

Posted

Hi,

i just bought 2 Fibaro RGBW zwave module (the V2 one).

ref : FGRGBW-442 ZW5 v5.0

serial : (000…)43841 and (000..)44112.

I connected one of them to a 5.5m 60led/m RGBW strip and then started playing using my eedomus box.

It seemed to be working properly until I figured out that changing light intensity (from 100% to 30% for example) was making it crash. (Also changing colors makes it crash, but more randomly)

I measured voltage between +24 and ground : when the fibaro crashes the voltage shuts down to near 0V for a sec and then goes back to 24V.

I tried using an other power supply (same model, 200W, both are brand new) but it still wasn’t working.

I tried using the second fibaro module, same issue.

Does anybody had the same issue?

Thanks
