TV + Light on Fibaro double switch?

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi,

So I would like to put my TV in the ceiling. There is already 1 lamp in the ceiling where I want to put my TV next to.

Can't I use a fibaro double switch 2 & wire both the lamp & the tv to the switch?

Next step would be to use the Walli in the wall to seperately turn on the light and/or tv

There are currently only 1 blue (live) + 1 black (switch) cable in the ceiling goin to the current single wall switch.

So else I have to pull a power cable from somewhere all the way up to the TV, I was thinking why not use the already existing cables in the ceiling. But I also still need the light/lamp

Yes you could do this, provided your TV doesn't need an earth cable.  You should bypass any existing mechanical light switch so that there is always power going to the double switch in the ceiling.

    Thnx for ur fast answer!

But if I do would like some sort of wall switch. Then the Walli would be ok? Or perhaps an wireless Z-wave button device attached to the wall

No worries. If you want to use the existing wall switch, then you'd need more cables in the wall.  So yes, you'll need a switch that sends a zwave message to the controller in order to turn the lights on.  Haven't used the Walli but I think you can set it up so that it activates certain scenes when you single and double click. ie single click, toggle light; double click toggle TV.
