RGBW Controller 2 reacts very slow

Question

Posted

Hi,

I am using 3 RGBW Fibaro Controllers 2. The first one is a little bit older than the others and it works fine.

The 2 newer ones have z-wave version 6.81.03 and device firmware 5.00. When I change the color or the brightness of the stribes, it takes over 5 seconds until the controller reacts for the first time and with each following change the reaction slows more and more down. For example I make 5 fast changes in my app it takes up to 1 or two minutes until the contoller reacts to the fifth change.

Do you know about this problem and ist there a bug fix for it?

Thank you.

Hi @Dumperios  I have a similar problem with RGBW 442's when using them as in / out devices to trigger scenes. The old 441's work instantly to trigger scenes. The new 442's have a lag of about 6 seconds. I've been through the relevant parameters and set them to "instant", but this did not help.

I raised a ticket with Fibaro and they have advised that there will be a firmware update that should solve this. They didn't say when the update would be, but it seems that they are aware of the issue and that it is something they will fix.

Hope this helps
