FGS-224 Cannot switch off, switches on immediately

MikeyMan

Question

Hi all,

I'm trying to use an FGS-224 to control my heatpump. Chose the 224 because i need a potential free switch, which the Switch2 doesnt offer.

Connected L&N to a wall plug.

Connected L to a wall switch (for testing purposes)

Connected S1 to the other end of the wall switch

Changed setting 20 from momentary to toggle (on/off).

Easy peasy you'd say.

However, upon trying to switch off, it immediately turns back on.

Reset the whole thing and paired again, to no avail.

What could be wrong here?

did you connect L to IN as per the manual ?

Also make sure all parameters are set to default , except parameter 20 if you need toggle.   You could also set all the alarm parameters to no reaction to make sure device doesn't switch on because of something else.
