Bug: Motion sensors not visible in home and devices view when using Quick App with motion sensor combined

Recommended Posts

When I use QA as binary sensor to combine multiple motion sensors those sensors disappear in the home and device view. This can not be by design, right?

All scene's that uses the separate motion sensors keep working though....

"home and device view" - you mean in BUI (access via WebBrowser) or mobile APP?

Have you created Binary Sensor as Linked Device or you prigrammed QuickApp with Binary Sensor type, and you read values of set of Motion sensors in LUA code?

If Linked Device - when you create it, there is an option that by default hides all the agregated devices. But you can always ask to display hidden devices and unhide them.

If you program QuickApp in Lua, visibility of Motion Sensors shall not be affected.

Hi Albert, great, thanks for your answer. Indeed I did not see the option to hide alle the linked devices. Not realised this was a feature and not a bug (for real this time).
