Good advice over gold

To advise or not to advise inexperienced persons in the installation of a smart home product?

That's a question similar to Hamlet's.

Unfortunately, the popularity of smart home products often attracts inexperienced people to installation work.
Fibaro is doing well in terms of construction, because it is a European product, so it has to meet a lot of standards and criteria.
Today, people voluntarily assemble some Chinese box. It is often a gamble with life even for experienced and professionally qualified persons.

I myself am educated in the field and I myself have respect for electricity. I'm happy to give advice, but sometimes it scares me whether people will understand it correctly.
Ask anyone who has no idea what they are doing to call an expert. Who at least thinks that he is maximally cautious. It is about property or life.

being trainer i know that even exprieced persons might have some issues, sometimes even to understand simple diagram (which is not because they stupid, they just "got lost" at that time). So yeah, having sometimes such qustions, i really try to advice them, and sometimes even inexperienced persons - when i feel "that's ok".

However, one can "feel" people who should definitely ask a qualified person to do the job for them. I know a lot of them just don't care or just think "Who cares, it's my property/life", well... I don't care about your personal property or life, but i do care about my life or other people's lives, e.g. who may not be saved by you because you've already died doing something you shouldn't have done ? Sound stupid? Well, who cares ...
