Fibaro Home Centre App - Icons appear as ?

Question

When I establish a new device in HC3 I select the icons to be used some of which I input from my own files. For a switch that means selecting an icon for ON and a different one for OFF.   My HC3 operates correctly and the device icons change in accord with change of state. However in the Home Centre App on my iPhone I often get a question mark ( ? ) instead of the correct image .  Can any one advise why this is so and what I can do to correct it.  Only seems to apply to 10% of my devices but I haven't been able to find a solution.  I'd appreciate any advice that you might have.

Last week, I asked  this question to Fibaro support and I got the following response back:

 

 

"We're aware of this issue and we've already forwarded it to our engineers, who are currently working on resolving it as soon as possible. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience it caused but I have to ask you for a little more patience."

 

In my case it only happes with custom icons (self created or from other sources).

While those icons are the right dimensions (128x128), maybe the collor depth could be the root cause of it, but I have not been able to find the right specification to test with different formats.

You should log out from cloud account on your mobile, then log in in OFFLINE mode, then log out again, kill the app, and re-log with cloud account. It will load the custom icons only when you are in OFFLINE mode.
