HC3: value label QA in scene

How do i get the value of a label  from a QA label(ID)

in HC2 it was like fibaro:getValue(662, "ui.lblDate.value")

Thx, HC3 is harder then HC2 for me 😅

If you want to read the label value of a QA you are almost certainly doing something wrong.

QAs have properties and values like any device and usually store relevant status info in them.

QA's also have their own quickAppVariables and can store values there too - however, it's a bit of a hack to retrieve value from them...

The advantage with quickAppVariables is that you can store all lua values and not just some formatted string for a label.

So, try to find out more about the QA and if the value you need is stored somewhere...

Otherwise this works

Please login or register to see this code.

ex. self:getView('lblDate','text')

Labels have 'text' properties, sliders have 'value' properties etc.
