[SOLVED]New rooms and sensors not viewable on the Android Yubii app.

Hi All,

 

I don't know if this is an issue due to the upgrade, or is something else.

 

I haven't added any new rooms or sensors for a while, a few days ago I added two new rooms and 3 new sensors, they do not show on the yubii app.

 

rooms I have renamed are showing fine, but new rooms do not appear.

 

Does anyone have any experience of this?

Hi try the following:

 

In the user acces settings, make sure this user has acces to the devices in the new rooms.

 

In the yubii App:

Go to > more > settings > App settings > room mode > activate room mode > tick the rooms you want to see in the App

 

Go back to the favorites and check if the missing rooms are there?

    Please excuse my stupid ramblings, I had indeed forgot to activate the new rooms in the settings app.

     

    Sorted now.

    For those who add the same issue event in 2022/2023 and found no "solution" as only one account is used.
    When room or modules are not visible in Yubii, juste go in Web UI on your Fibaro box:
    Configuration (settings)=> Access control => User (not super user and even if your User is the same as Super user) => Edit

    Check that all what you want is check because each time you add something or you reset something, it is not automatically added and your "super user" is "just a user" in this section.

    Seems logical but long time ago I did not have to do that in previous version (HC2) This made me confusing.

    Hello! I bumped into this problem yesterday for a new installation.

    Devices (remotes) are visible only in the web console but not in-app. I tried the solutions above but nothing works. Even tried to re-install.

     

    Wondering whether i need to create a regular user instead of only using the administrator user on both the app and web?
