Temperature and humidity sensor wont send updates to the controller

durino13

Question

Hello. I have bought a temperature and humidity sensor (https://manual.zwave.eu/backend/make.php?lang=en&sku=AEOEZWA039&cert=ZC12-20080086). I have installed the sensor and it's visible in my Fibaro Home Center 3 Light. I have 2 problems with the sensor though:

1. The sensor wont send updates to the controller, unless I press the button on the sensor. If I do it, values are imedietelly updated. If I don't press the button, sensor wont contact the controller for several hours. It's a new setup and I am testing it. If I press the button, values (e.g. the temperature) update significantly in the UI. Any idea what can I do about this?

2. I can see the temperature history chart, but this chart is not visible for the humidity. Any idea why?

In the attachment, you can see my sensor params.

  • I have set the wake up interval to 3600 sec. and now the sensor sends the updates. Problem is my Yubii app on mobile does not reflect the changes I can see using the desktop app.

    Could you paste the parameters in text form instead of a zip/xml

    But looking at the manual. I would set parameter 2 and 3, to value 1 (for the test)

    This would set it to report at a 1% change, and check for it every minute.

    Then ofcourse make it more humid, and check if you recieve reports.

    Aha, i see you managed to get it working. Good!

    Ahh...like a chart in your homecenter. Sorry i misunderstood. Thanks @Tomasz Spaleniak for clearing that up.

    I also use a Aeotec, different version though. And for me it also doesnt give me a chart in my HC3.

    But, i use the reports for grafana charts. Maybe look into that.

    @durino13

    Many things were promised at the launch of the HC3 and the other models.

    But now, three years later, we can see that many of the promises were just empty words.

    Some graphs for humidity and many other units you will unfortunately never get. Fibaro is unfortunately not interested in giving you these.
