HC2 self restarts every 1-2 days

Hi all,

I had some hw issues on one of my HC2, meaning that it would turn off completely (all lights off) with no reason (no power failures, as it's powered by a battery). Anyways, I replaced it with my other HC2 and moved all the data to the new one.

The new one works but every 1-2 days it self restarts ZWave (ZWave start message in the console and then when I go to Configuration I have confirmation as ServerStatus counter is reset) - it happens even during the night with nobody at home.

During this time, I replaced some old Everspring thermostats and Fibaro Relays with MCO, so I thought it could have been a ZWave routing problem but a snapshot done with YetAnotherRouteVisualizer doesn't show anything strange.

 

Any idea of what else could be causing a restart?

Did you check the voltage on the internal CMOS battery?  Also, is the HC2 on UPS ?  I'd say it is power related, not HC2 related.

Hi thanks for your hint - the CMOS is probably low so I ordered a new one on amazon and I'm waiting for it. Meanwhile, yes the HC2 is under UPS...

I have changed the CMOS battery but unfortunately after 2 days my HC2 self-restarted again.. any other idea?
