Unlink S1 and Q1

CasperD

Question

I would like to use the Smart Module, as remote controller garage door opener.

In this mode I would like the Q1 to control the push button of the garage door, with an 1 sec pulse, and I would like the S1 to probe the port Open/close status with a micro switch.

This implies that activity on S1 should not affect Q1 - otherwise the garagedoor will stop opening when it reaches the trigger point of the sensor micro switch.

Further I would like the On/Off indication send to the controller, show the indication from S1 (not the Q1 relay state).

As I read the documentation none of these features are available. To do this I need to use a doubble device, and use Q1 for the push button (not using S1) and second channel use S2 for the port sensor, not using Q2.
This will not be pretty in the controller, with 2 different device instantiation for a single function.

Thanks

Casper

@CasperDHello an welcome to the community.

AFIK there is no fibaro modul/switch where you can disconect input switch S1/S2 from affecting output Q1/Q2.

But for roller blinds, jalousies and gates I recomend you to use the fibaro roller shutter 3. It has the features for such solutions. Look
