E-cars, washing machines, PV systems.
Much in the field of smart home as far as large appliances are concerned increasingly communicates via EEBUS.

Is there a plan to be able to integrate this into the Fibaro HC3?
If necessary, read-only to be able to use the values as triggers for scenes?

Honestly, If Fibaro should integrate something it is KNX. Via KNX you can connect many devices and connect gateways to basically everything and there is just one communication protocol.

I vote for KNX too, but we need to be a bit more realistic..There is a good couple of unsolved issues in FIbaro, that should have highest priorities..I think the developer's focus in these times is way more on other basic things..Hoefully sooner or later these other functionalities will be available too, but in my opinion it will take years...muitiple years...

Like ZWAVE engine 3, ZIGBEE, YUBII develoment, or standard crashing problems are way more important..
