Quickapp & reading Temp sensor value

Question

Posted

Hi,

I am truying to use a quickap for reading a remote temp sensor value, but I cannot find the right way to do it. I am using the following:

After encoding the variables to their proper values

iData=api.get("/proxy?url=http://"..urlEncode(user)..":"..urlEncode(passwd).."@"..ip.."/api/devices/"..device)
dValue=iData.value

That is giving me null value (while using the same way, I can get device name and its room id). ANy one can help with this ??

You need dValue = iData.properties.value

But why not use the standard fibaro function fibaro.getValue(device_id,property_name), in your case fibaro.getValue(device,"value")
