“Swagger” is in the option bar on the left of your screen, if you are logged on locally, not remote.

There is also a nice manual available of the HC3 API at

Okey, i checked that "Swagger" document, and the link also which you mentioned, but there is not any mention of APIs, the only available thing is the json value.

You checked out Swagger in option bar on the left bottom of your HC3 GUI screen in your browser? There is a lot more than "the only available thing is the json value."

@saurabhkalita, Swagger baked in Home Center 3 is baked in control via API.

Two ways how to access Swagger.

    1. The way @SmartHomeEddy mentioned.
    2. Via URL <HC_IP>/swagger (example: 10.42.0.1/swagger)

Some "offline" (without testing) reading is at

So this is the the api to call an action on an device

Please login or register to see this attachment.

and the action name and the parameters depends on what you want to do.
To figure out what actions a device supports you need to look at the device definition

and look at the actions field.

However, you only get the arity of the actions, not the parameters types.

With QAs it's a bit tricker besides what their standards type implies.

    Hi,
is there actually a reason why you wanted to solve the control via API HC3? Do you use any other system into which you will integrate HC3 using the API?
Have you already solved the control of scenes, blinds, lights,... from HC3 directly?
Are you looking for a way to integrate everything mentioned into HC3? It has a bit of an effect on me.
    eM.
