Help -> RGBW controlling LED Gate light

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi all,

I recently bought two „ZQUARE Move“ Pillar Lights for my sliding Gate. These light are LED lights that are also connected to the Gate motor, and flash red when the gate is opened.

You can also use them as regular lights (white) when the gate is idle.

I connected everything correctly (at least I think); the light has a separate dimmer line which can be connected to their own wifi module. I connected that dimmer line to the „w“ terminal of the controller, and the V- line of the light to another terminal (here „red“).

The light switches on correctly, but when I try to dimm it, the dimming works reversed: When the white light is set to full, the light switches dark, and the other way around.

I uploaded an overview Diagramm of how it should be connected.

Can someone maybe point me to the right direction, if possible?

Cheers
