Hello all,
If event database get very big it can cause bad performance and even failure of HC2. When that happens usually it is necessary to contact [email protected] and ask them to clean this database.
Since large portion of this database are energy readings users can first try to clean energy data from event database by going to
Configuration --> General and use provided button there [Reset energy data].
Please login or register to see this spoiler.
But, there is a catch in doing this! You will loose all historical energy data stored before reset and you will not be able to show graph anymore and have overview of your total consumption for the current year.
So the best time to reset energy data is January 1st between "00:00" and "00:01", so in the first minute of each year.
Now QUESTION:
Is there a way to reset this energy data from LUA code? It would be nice to automate this action and that we do not need to think and remember to press that button in the festive New Year night! Thank you!
NOTE - I ask for HC2, but it would be nice to know if same is possible on HC3 family too!
