Hello,

I am trying to build a block scene which will deactivate motion sensor at a specified time. Could you please help me witch setting it up? Unfortunately I do not know LUA.

Current situation:

Currently the motion sensor is switching a light on each time when a movement is detected.

Expected situation 1:

For example, between 8AM and 5PM I would like to have the motion sensor not switching the light on when the movement is detected.

Expected situation 2:

For example, when the light sensor is detecting the ambient light above x LUX the light is not being switched on.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @inspirit ,

Check motion sensor parameters and set parameter 8 to value 2 so that motion will work only during night depending on measured illumination (lux) set by parameter 9.

If you don't want to mess around parameters, like Sankotronic showed you, you can easily set time range as condition in your block scene, or the LUX value from the light sensor.

Dont forget to use AND operator and untick the "Use as trigger" box, so it will be used as condition.

Dear @Neo Andersson, thank you for you replay. I am using Home Center Lite, block scenes looks differently. I do not have suggested Time Range option but interval only. I have tried to built two scenes as below (uzbrojony means armed, nieuzbrojony = disarmed:

I didn't suggest to mess with motion sensor parameters since parameters are there to use them if are providing solution.

Since it is HCL in question that does not provide nothing more than basic block scenes, adjusting sensor parameters can provide easier solution in this case than brainstorming block scenes.

BTW - after changing sensor parameters as suggested then motion sensor will disable motion triggers if measured lux is above parameter 9, and will enable it when measured lux is below that value. This is actually a very good solution provided by Fibaro motion sensor so that scenes are not unnecessary triggered saving some HCL resources for other actions. :-)

    I didn't notice it is a HC2

Its actually HCL with only block scenes available (

    if not rooted or using

which is highly recommended specially for HCL owners.
