Motion sensor without HC gateway, with Alexa or Hue

Javo

Question

Hi,

I have a lot of smart devices connected to my Philips Hue Bridge, Alexa Echo dot and wibutler bridge. Now I've bought a house and got a Home Center 2 box and some motion and door sensors from Fibaro.

Is there a way to use the sensors without the HC gateway? That's one more box I would rather not add to my system... thanks!

@JavoHi no, fibaro zwave devices can only be connected to a zwave controller. Like your hc2 or any other zwave gateway.

  • My hope was I wouldn't need the HC3, or at least not after initial setup.

    Thanks for the answers
