Where to install single switch 2

durino13

Question

Hi. I want to control lights with single 2 switch, but I have no room for it under the wall switch. The installation box is too shallow and full of cables.

Are there other options? Can I install those switches in electrical switchboard far away from the wall switches on a DIN rail maybe?

Thx,

Juraj

@durino13Hi, the wires should'nt be longer than 10m.

Another possibility is to use the walli switch

I've installed a bank of Fibaro dimmers in a DIN rail switchboard. Search for Eutonomy and Haseman who make those enclosures. Note that this is a great option for new builds, but requires additional wiring to the switch board which can be tricky in existing homes, depending on how much access you have.
