Remotec ZXT 800

Hello

Anyone has any info about this new Remotec ZXT 800 device?

Inclusion always fails.

Any developer here to give us some hints?

Hmmm, maybe Z-Wave engine 2 is not up to task with HC3 and Z-Wave engine 3.0 is needed. It should be ZW800, so maybe S2 is needed.

 

@m.roszak, any plans for introducing Z-Wave Engine 2 to Z-Wave engine 3 migration?

Got mine yesterday and did some poking around it.

 

So, to have it work in Z-Wave 2.0 engine I got in included in security mode. It shows as "Not configured" but it seems to be working, it flashes IR signal.

BTW, I love the app for setting AC control and test it.

Hello, yes, the app is awesome, for setting AC control and test. However, i still have a problem. After some time, my BLE just stopped advertising in ZXT800 (btw ZXT is USB powered), so i tried to restart it by pressing prog button 3x. Unfortunatelly it never happens again. And for me the Fibaro device is still not working. It is unconfigured, and it is not working at all for me. I have tried to contact Remotex support, thez say there will be some update cimong out these days.

I did what I do after every code change with ZXT-600. Soft-reconfiguration on the device.

Yeah, i have tried everything. Soft reconfig, hard reconfig, manual remove/reinclusion, factory reset...nothing helped

@Neo Andersson, maybe I'm blind, but have you added device with security enabled on HC3? With it I managed best result so far with ZXT-800. Yes, there was adding failed and I need to test it also on Z-Wave 3.0 engine as Z-Wave engine 2.0 was intoduced with HC2 with ZW300.

Tried it with security S0, and without it either... (S2 not available for me..its for Zwave engine 3 only)

On Z-Wave Engine 3.0 no problem.
