Just an information for anyone struggling to pair this one to their HC3.
You do not need dimmer/switch from IKEA, nor their gateway.
The right way to force the bulb to enter pairing mode is this:
1) power on bulb
2) switch it off and on again with one second delay

3) repeat (2) six times (end state should be ON of course :))

Then bulb should start to pulse which indicates pairing mode and pair with your HC3 (supposed that you had your "add your new zigbee device mode" already running)

Timing is the key - I tried this with different timing (too short) and it did not work.

After pairing it exposes on/off/dimm functions.

Maybe it is just my experience with this bulb, but mine got pretty hot after running just for a few minutes.
