Fibaro radiator head doesn't work when offset value is used

Neo Andersson

Question

Guys,

Anyone has some experiences with Fibaro radiator heads?

Iit driving me crazy, 'cause there is no simple explanation why the head doesn't turn my radiator ON.

I have some guess, that is might be cuased by the offset value on the temperature sensor, but its only my guess.

Anyone from Fibaro???

Unfortunately this is known behaviour of the head valve.

If you apply an offset to the temperature sensor this won't affect the head behaviour. It only chenge visually the temperature shown on the dashboard. The head valve still use the original temperature ( with no offset ).

Fibaro please fix this issue is very very important as I have several sensors that, placed are in a higher position and needs some adjustment.

  • @m.roszak Dear Michale, any new about this long long lasting issue? Will this be solved, or we just need to consider using other alternatives?

I understand that from your point of view is an issue, but the device itself in the firmware just does not support such a feature.
We can hide offset setting to not confuse anyone (it is a system feature for temperature sensors, designed for a different purpose) from the SW perspective.

I will ask if there are any plans to add offset setting in the device firmware.

Thanks, I prefer if it's going to be implemented in the future or if it's impossible to have.

    Let us known please...

    thanks

Fantastic news... This way system could really fit any sensor installation with proper valve control... Finger crossed
