Hello together,

i have some problems with an simple autentification via httpclient. The website accept username and password via the http string. Like

Please login or register to see this link.

But when httpclient should make it, i get an authentification error 401

My code:

--[[
%% properties
%% events
%% globals
--]]

local http = net.HTTPClient()

http:request('http://username:[email protected]/status.html', {
    success = function(current)

    if current.status == 200 then
        print('Data Receiving: ', current.status)
        print('CurrentData: ', current.data)

        else
        fibaro:debug(current.status)
        end
    end
    })

Maybe someone have a solution for that generally problem or maybe for my direkt problem to read status information from my deye inverter

Thank you

My first thought on this is that the URL looks strange. Have you tried using either curl or an app like Postman? Depending on the complexity of my needs I find curl to be fast and easy but I love the ability to save my results in Postman. Postman requires a little more upfront effort to create a workspace but then setting up the URL and filling in the forms for your header, body, authentication parts of the request help with much of the syntax.

Give that a try.
