Whats the equivalent of getSourceTrigger in HC3

Question

Posted (edited)

Just starting on converting my first HC2 scene to HC3.

I have multiple motion sensors triggering it.

What is the equivalent of getSourceTrigger?  Found it just sourceTrigger.

  1. Is there some documentation somewhere on such things
  2. I see sourceTrigger['type'] gives the type and sourceTrigger.id gives the deviceid.
  3. Is there an initial loop equivalent to autostart ?  This is where I used to do a validity test such as do all devices in the scene, exist ?
  4. Equivalent of abort ?
  5. fibaro.getValue (device,'value') always returns true.  Whats the new way ?

I don't have a working HC2 to verify it.  But it looks like the value returned from getValue has changed.

    • I think, before it may have been 0/100 for switches and 0-100 for dimmers.
    • It looks like now it returns false/true for switches (ie boolean) and a numeric value for dimmers.

So, it affects some code migrated from HC2.
