How to make the Walli switch to only activate a scene, not the connected light with HC3

pabloo

Question

Hi,

I am trying to set up a Walli switch with one connected light.

Out of the box, both buttons toggle the connected light by default.

However, I need the second button, to do a different action - activate a scene.

However it always does both, it seems I cannot disable the default action.

How can I set up the second button to toggle scenes only and not to control the connected light?

I am using HC3.

@pablooHello and welcome to the community.

The single/double operation mode has to be changed before including the walli switch to the homecenter.

You will have to exclude the walli switch from the homecenter. Than look below.

  • Hi Fabir,

    thanks for your help!

I tried the switch in both modes, however the issue still persists.

Even if I allow scenes to be sent on 1 click on both buttons (parameters 40 and 41) and assign a scene, the switch always toggles its connected load. There seems to be no way to use the switch to control a different device without turning the connected light on?

Isn't the switch supposed to only control scenes with 1 click instead of the connected light when the parameters 40 and 41 are set to 1?
