Question

I have a vera plus controller and have added the smart implant.

_Generic IO 1 and 2 got created in vera.

I can turn on and off manually on my vera interface.

but I want to have a contact between ground and in1 to do the same thing.

what do I need to do this?

So first: hello, welcome to the forum.

 

To a vague question:

You wrote it yourself. You need to insert some kind of switch between IN1 and GND. The rest is a matter of setup.

 

1) I don't know if you have Universal Binary Sensor or Smart Implant. You write about SI, but you are in the USB section. (the connection is the same for your case, the settings are different)
2) from your description, it is difficult to distinguish whether you even notice the difference between the input and output of the module.
