Battery level of Door/Window sensor is 0%

Question

Posted

This week I bought 4 new door/window sensors of Fibaro. I included and installed 2 of them.

Immediately after inclusion the battery level of both devices is 0% and stays that 0%

I used the batteries out of the box. I changed a battery but all stays the same.

I get notifications that the battery level is too low. But the device works fine.

What can I do to solve this problem? Is using a real 3v battery a solution? Do I need to contact Fibaro support to get an solution?

Used hard- and software:

System: HC3

Software version: 5.141.59 (beta)

@PeterBThings you can try:

-Soft reconfiguration. Don't forget to wake up the sensor in order to complete soft reconfiguration.

-Include the door sensor with security enabeld or without security when connecting to the hc3.

Hi Peter, maybe the batteries were already empty on arrival?

    I excluded and included without s2 the security mode and changed batteries. That all did the trick.
    Strange that I bought new devices with low battery power. Anyway it works.
