Hello.
Even if I were to ignore all the safety and features that your door operator has, you will run into one thing. RollerShutter3 is for operation with 230V. Not 12V.
Switching the phase to all outputs.
You can try competing products.

    will the Fibaro Implant work?

This will help you. It is a monul designed for a similar case, i.e. controlling a DC motor by changing the polarity.

    Qubino Roller Shutter DC 12/24V Z-Wave - type ZMNHODx (x = frequency).

If you want to replace the existing door controller, only with Qubino Roller Shutter DC 12/24V.
However, if you only want to add control to the existing installation, you can use Smart Implant. So what do you require?

    additional control only.

Would I able to power the RSB via 230 volts and then only use the s1, s2 to open and close the gate?

As I have the open and close input in my existing gate controller as in the pic?

@kgm It is not appropriate to use RS3 for such things. You need a potential-free contact, such as the FGS-214/224 or SmartImplant.
You can supply SmartImplant with 12VDC from the aux output of the opener. If you want to power the module from 230V, you can use FGS-214 or FGS-224.
I recommend the SI. It is small, undemanding, contains 2x input and 2x output.

    Will this work? //Summary: no

Do you really have a universal binary sensor from Fibaro or a Smart Implant?

To open, you must connect UBS OUT1 to the opening input, to close UBS OUT2 to the opening input.

BTW, UBS in1 or in2 can be connected to a wall switch for local control.

    universal binary sensor from Fibaro

Also, howdo I setup on my home centre inter face to open or close

    @kgm

Ok,... that's easy. Connect OUT1 UBS to COM on the opener. Another terminal OUT1 UBS with terminal FRX or TRG opener. Then configure the opener appropriately. You may already have a wireless control receiver on your FRX. In that case, connect in parallel to its contacts (COM / FRX).... Voila... and the job is done.

    Now just configure in HC.

    Unfortunately, I don't have UBS, so I can't help.

Just a little advice. Be sure to configure the automatic shutdown of the output after a time, for example 1 sec.

Anyone get a solution to this?  I now have the same gate and cant get RS3 working on it.

As stated above, RS3 is for mains voltage only.  I hope you haven't fried your gate controller!

Use a Smart Implant, diagram 9 from the manual. My guess is that you want to connect the Smart Implant output to "Trg" (trigger?) and AUX IO.

Congratulations... but what's the message? That SmartImplant is suitable? Yes, it is - it's a similar device to the UBS and it's my favorite device.

    Ave Smart Implant. 🤗
