wrong color sensor or what ?

Question

Posted

I bought a Fibaro Fgdw-002 (5) sensor on ebay, and I received a sensor whose color seems to me quite different from what I had asked for.
The (5) is supposed to mean light brown but instead I got this other color (see photo), which I don't think is light brown, unless I'm colorblind.
Was fibaro wrong to box this sensor in a brown sensor box, or is this really a light brown?

I think you are right with your last sentence. This is light brown, and the box is for a brown version.

    I have seven  type 1 door/window sensors fitted, have now bought this to see if I can upgrade them all to version 2.
    The box on the left concerns the 7 sensors to update (fgk-106): what are they all brown ?
    The box on the right is from the one just bought fgdw-002 (5) is from the one just bought, which seems to me an even lighter color than light brown (but here it could be that i am colorblind).
    Do I have to buy all brown ? That is color code 6 ( and not look at the color of the sensor on the box) ?
    Meaning what
    1 = White
    2= Grey
    3= Black
    4= Beige
    5= Light brown
    6= Brown
    7= Dark brown

    The color seems an unimportant detail, but to make the sensors barely visible, almost camouflaged with the color of the doors, windows, it is quite important.

    The other two images (old/new sensor) give the idea.

    i agree, your old situatian matches the wood perfect. So, then i would say 6 - brown.

    But then again, 5 - light brown would have been "oke" but yours seems to be a little to light.

    Not sure what is happening here :) But i agree....the light brown you have now aint the correct color.

    Maybe it is a new color :P  Mokka coffee color :)
