Aeotec Dual Nano Switch interacting with Fibaro HC3

Question

Posted

Hi All.

I realise this is not strictly a Fibaro question, but I hope someone can help me with the interaction between the Aeotec dual Nano and HC3

1. With the dual Nano controlling independent sets of lights via HC3 and dual local press button toggle switches for both sides

2. Nano parameters 120 and 121 set to 3 to enable  separate toggle switches

3. If only one side of the dual Nano is turned On then Off, I get recognition by HC3 within 3 to 5 seconds - all ok

4. But if both sides of the dual Nano are turned On, and I turn Off one side, I get NO confirmation by HC3 for that side going Off until the other side is turned Off as well

5. I get similar problems if I am seeking confirmation when lights are turned On

6. Summary. Both sides of the dual Nano are not truly independent, and I was wondering if there was a parameter setting within the dual Nano to make this so, but I can't find it

7. I will post this question to Aeotec as well, and place answer back here if I can get one

Thankyou

Again I appear to answer my own question. I raised this issue with Aeotec Support and was told to set Parameter 80 in the nano switch to 2. This works fine with the dual switches which now appearing totally separate

Yeah, all Aeotec switches by default usually don't send report to the controller.

I suggest looking how parameter 80 is configured.  Set the value to 2.
