No. This is not true. It is working for me with default settings, without the cert.

So probable the Ip is incorrect.

Is it the IP as shown on HC3L in Settings->Network?

Is your computer is on the same segment?

the computer is on the same segment, the IP of the HC3L is the right one (controlled twice)

at least i'm asking if it is possible to connect to HC3L using local connection (when the HC3L is already in function and plugged on the home wifi ?

Yes, off course. I am using local connection for all my hubs.

Please try using static IP and not DHCP.

i can't, the function to change dhcp to static is grey and with a stop when i go to use it.

    nota:  it's an HC3L not an HC3

Yes, I understand this is HC3L, all my examples come from my HC3L.

It may be a stupid idea, but try to change the HC3L language to English, just to see if DHCP could be changeable.

Have you tried to reset the network settings?

    from the manual:

    Resetting network settings

Resetting network settings will restore Wi-Fi factory settings.

    Using button on the cover:
    1. Hold the D button for 20 seconds.
    2. Click when the indicator is blinking red.

i was on the site today and i could try to connect with the IP_address and ....... it's OK i coud retrieve all the functionnality, so i have change the DHCP with static IP and download on a separate device a backup.

thank you all for your help

the conclusion for me :  some functionnality aren't available when we are remote expectially download backup and set network functionnality (perhaps some other i havn't checked yet.
