Synchronisation between Yubii Home scenes and Alexa

Question

Posted

Hello there !

I installed a Yubii Home in order to control some blinds (NICE). I created scenarios and then I activated Yubii Alexa Skill.

I saw all the scene in the Alexa application but now when I create a new scenario in the Yubii application I could not find it in Alexa application.

Same observation when I delete a scenario in the Yubbi app. It stays in Alexa app.

I restart the Home Center but nothing happened.

Any idea?

Thank You !

Try to say to Alexa: "Alexa find new devices".

Same issue here have already many scenes synchronized with Alexa.

Recently created new ones. They are detected by other services (like IFTTT), but not by Alexa...

@Kukontku did you find a solution ?

Hi!

Same issue here, using Yubii Home and Alexa. The scenes are only synchronized when I remove the skill and register it again. "Alexa, find new devices" changes nothing.

Firstly, try refreshing the Alexa app to see if the new scenarios appear. Sometimes, it can take a bit of time for changes to sync across different platforms.

If that doesn't work, you might need to manually re-enable the Yubii Alexa Skill or unlink and relink your Yubii account with Alexa. This can sometimes kickstart the syncing process and ensure that all your scenarios are up to date in the Alexa app.

If you've tried all of the above and the issue persists, it could be a compatibility or integration problem between Yubii and Alexa. In that case, reaching out to Yubii's customer support team for assistance would be a good next step. They might have specific troubleshooting steps or be able to provide further guidance based on your setup.
