Is there a "group" function for devices

Question

Posted

So, I have a bunch of lights in the window of all rooms. I have several scenes that effects these lights. I Turn them on in the morning and off again when sun is up. Then I turn them on again in the evening and off att midnight.

Since it is like ten of the same lights the scenes get very long if I should use the "single unit block" in block scen editor. Is there a way to group them together and refer to the group in my scenes?

@FredrikskThis is called "linked devices"

Go to:

Add devcies > other > switches > add the switches > choose the main switch > select device type > multilevel switch > give it a name.

Than you can include this switch in any scene.

    Setup linked devices and nominate a primary device. Go to devices-> Add Device -> Linked devices. LInk all your lights and then you can control the 'pseudo' device which will turn all of them on / off

    Just noticed a unwanted behaviour. When I press the choosen primary device I turn off and on all the devices in that group. Do I need to specify a primary device and if so, can I make that a "dummy" device?
