What is the difference in Lua scences between "hub" and "fibaro"?

Question

Posted

Hello,

I'm still in an early learning phase. Currently I try to understand the differences between following Lua chunk (example only).

Please login or register to see this code.

Initially the "fibaro.debug(...)" call worked, but after some days only a call "hub.debug(...)" creates output on console.

BTW, in scenes code suggestions are only provided for "hub".

System: Yubii Home

Software version: 5.140.17

Thanks

Before NICE bought FIBARO and Yubii Home didn't exists the FIBARO functions where called with fibaro. Nice set a Yubii Home controller on the market (which looks the same as an HC3 lite) and they changed the FIBARO function calls to hub. and left fibaro. in for backward compatibility.
